Ian “Mac” McKenzie.
Deputy U.S. Marshal

Ian “Mac” McKenzie was part owner of a successful ranch with his parents in Nebraska. At hearing of the Landrun in the lands of the Seminoles, the McKemzies traveled to the Oklahoma Territory to sell their herd to the cavalry. After learning their horses were to be broken during their training, the McKenzies decided to sell their horses to the Seminoles. During the transport of the horses, Ian complained of boredom and his talents were identified by Marshal John Cardwell. He was then offered a badge to serve under Cardwell as deputy, which he gladly accepted.

He spent some time down in the lands of the Potawatomi serving as deputy marshal, when he was introduced to Joey Harris. Over time, Joey went back to where she was from and Mac followed her.

He was transferred to being a Deputy At Large in Guthrie, allowing him to take whatever assignment was necessary. He started serving as co-town marshal with Joe Blackwolf in the town of Waterloo, between Edmond and Guthrie.

Some time later, after a number of injuries and misadventures, Mac and Joey wed.

The couple now serve as co-town marshals when not on assignment for the US Marshal service
